Easy Halloween Costume #1 Rosie the Riveter
For those who want to opt for a more empowering easy Halloween costume over the traditional scary, Rosie the Riveter is a classic.
One of the great things about this costume is that you won’t have to leave the house to buy supplies, you should own everything needed already.
Just grab some blue denim trousers and a blue denim shirt to pair this with a red bandana. Put your hair up, and wrap the bandana around your head and your good to go.
This is also a great look if you don’t feel like going too overboard with your makeup, you could wear simple everyday makeup or none at all!
Easy Halloween Costume #2 A Black Cat
Is there really a more timeless outfit option out there than the classic black cat? An easy outfit choice that only takes a little bit of DIY (we promise it won’t take too much time!).
The main focus of this outfit is the ears. To make your cat ears all you need is: some cardboard, glue, black paint or a marker pen and a headband.
Cut two triangles out of the cardboard, making sure the bottom the triangles is slightly curved (to fit onto the headband). Then coat these triangles in black paint. Next glue the curved bottom part of these triangles onto the headband.
For your makeup again you can keep it quite simple. We recommend you use a black eyeliner over your eyelids to create a ‘cat-eye’.
For your clothes, it’s really easy, keep it all black.
Easy Halloween Costume #3 Queen of Hearts
For this look, you could either take inspiration from the Queen of Hearts that marches through Alice in Wonderland. Or keep it simple and go with a playing card. Whichever you opt for this is can be a gorgeous easy Halloween costume for women.
Whether you are looking to Tim Burton’s Queen of hearts, or a more classic version, there is one main ingredient to this costume, playing cards.
To create the ruffled collard that the queen of hearts all you need is a pack of playing cards and some string. First, cut a small hole in the top right-hand corner of all of the playing cards, an easy way of doing this is by using a hole puncher.
Next measure your string by placing it loosely around your neck, make sure it isn’t too tight so it will be uncomfortable.
Then thread the first card through the string and tie a small knot to keep it in place. Repeat this with all of the cards until your queen of hearts necklace is complete.
For your clothes, we recommend a red dress, a great way of keeping things easy while being completely in keeping with your character!
What about makeup? Well really, you can do as much or a little as you want. For those who want to keep it simple why not draw a heart on your cheek with some red lipstick. Or go full-on Burton inspired with the exaggerated lips and dramatic blue eyeshadow.
